AFL-CIO labor thug Richard “Dick” Trumka says it’s a myth that America has a debt crisis. It’s a job crisis we’re facing and that crisis can of course be solved by more government stimulus. I don’t think this Socialist piece of crap could be more out of touch if he tried.

If there was ever an example of what happens to a society when you provide cradle to gave entitlements this is it. A 13-year old boy in London was arrested after he smashed up a shop with a stolen golf club. This being Britain, the boy of course walked free from court with a 9-month deferred sentence for burglary and violent disorder. The boy’s mother said she’s definitely ashamed of him for participating in the riots, but also holds the government partially responsible. They apparently are not providing enough for kids in Britain to do in their spare time. She believes the government has a responsibility to keep her 13-year old son occupied. That concept seems so foreign to me that it may as well be another planet, but I guess it’s because I’m an American.

But here’s the real kicker:

She is on benefits, does not live with the boy’s father and has 10 other children, the court heard.

And for a little icing on the cake:

The boy’s father claimed his son suffered ”police brutality” because his parents appeared to be under the impression when they took him to police on Friday he would be released before going to court.

Instead he was kept in police cells over the weekend.

You can accuse British police of a lot of things but “brutality” damn sure isn’t one of them. It’s controversial to even discuss using water cannons and rubber bullets on rioters. Those rioters would think it was the second coming of the SS if they came face to face with the LAPD. We start with water cannons and tear gas.

British PM David Cameron says it’s time for the country to address the “collapse of morality” and the “culture of laziness” that has been created over last several decades. Maybe the Brits are finally starting to wake up.

This is a prime example of “death panels” in action. The head of Britain’s NHS who advises local health clinics how to best spend their government funds (how to best ration care) has some advice on premature babies. Let them die.

Dr Austin, who advises local health trusts how to spend their budgets, said doctors were ‘doing more harm than good by resuscitating 23-weekers’ and that treatments have ‘very marginal benefit’.

The NHS spends around £10million a year resuscitating babies born this early and keeping them alive on incubators and ventilators.

But despite round-the-clock care from teams of experienced doctors and nurses, just 9 per cent leave hospital – the rest die. And only one in 100 grows up without some form of disability. The most common include blindness, deafness and cerebral palsy.

Dr Austin said that the care given to such tiny infants should be weighed up in the same way as the NHS decides whether or not to fund treatment for dying cancer patients.

That is quite literally a death panel. Bureaucrats decide if the government will fund treatment for dying cancer patients, treat a premature baby, etc. If they decide you’re too old to warrant expensive cancer treatments then you die. The government decides who lives and who dies. That is the sick vision liberals have for the American health care system. ObamaCare is certainly not this, but it’s what Democrats were left with when they couldn’t get a British style health care system passed.

In 2009, Obama advisor Robert Reich said his message to old people is, “we’re going to let you die.”

Here’s Obama playing the Socialism card again. He’s lecturing the Chamber of Commerce about the need for business to “share profits” with American workers. The suggestion being that business does not currently pay workers and simply keeps all the money for themselves. Sorry Hussein, that would be China.

The “Rev.” Jesse Jackson told a crowd of cheering sycophants that Michelle Obama is indeed taking over America’s dietary decisions and it’s a good thing. He then listed a dozen or so other areas the government should take over. The crowd went wild. I threw up.

Staten Island, NY also known as the “red borough” because of its large population of Russian immigrants is now turning red for another reason. The GOP. Russian immigrants are flocking to the Republican Party. They say Democrats are too “socialistic” and remind them of the Soviet Union.

Fridman said that the Democrats "are going in an absolutely different direction," focusing on "income redistribution" and rich-versus-poor "class war."

Michael Petrov of the Digital Edge data management firm in Bloomfield, said that he objects to the "micro-managing of the economy" he’s seen from city as well as federal officials.

"Government is affecting small business more and more," said Petrov, who came to the United States in 1994. "It’s the same as what’s happening in Russia."

We need to get these Russians involved with the party. The way they feel is exactly what we’ve been saying this whole time! These people fled Communism and they can see what is happening.

It was left wing pundits gone wild this morning on “Morning Joe.” Radical leftist Glenn Greenwald battled self-identified Socialist Laurence O’Donnell. O’Donnell says he doesn’t run from being liberal by calling himself “Progressive.” Greenwald says he doesn’t like to use labels. O’Donnell scoffs at that and labels himself a “Socialist” who lives at the “extreme left.”

This is the kind of television I can get behind. Steel cage matches between left-wingers.

Radical unions in France are continuing their attempt to cripple the French economy in the hopes of forcing President Sarkozy to back off his EXTREMELY modest retirement reforms. As I told you last week, Sarkozy is determined to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62.

French oil workers on Monday defied the government’s demand to get back to work and end scattered fuel shortages, stepping up their fight against President Nicolas Sarkozy’s plan to raise the retirement age to 62.

Striking workers piled up tires and set them ablaze in front of a refinery at Grandpuits, east of Paris, after authorities issued a legal order insisting that some strikers reopen the facility. Workers said Monday they would refuse, as curls of heavy black smoke wafted into the air.

Other employees and residents formed a "human chain" to prevent the refinery workers from entering the plant, and union leaders said they expected an imminent police intervention.

Strikers have blockaded a dozen French refineries and numerous oil depots in the last week as part of widespread protests against the government’s plan to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62.

It’s not only oil workers either. Airline workers and truckers have also joined in. Roads are blocked, airplanes are grounded, fuel is in short supply.

What you see in France is the end result of decades of Socialist policies and an out of control labor movement. The so-called “Card Check” legislation that Democrats want to pass so bad is precisely to create this kind of situation here in America.

Once big labor can unionize without a secret ballot it will open the flood gates to unionize everything. In France, every major sector of the economy is controlled by unions. As a result, they can bring the country to its knees to fight reforms. Sarkozy needs to do what Reagan did and bust unions. They can either return to work in 48 hrs. or be fired and get ZERO pension.

It’s beyond disgraceful that radical unions would rather France go bankrupt than have their workers retire at 62 instead of 60. It’s selfish and it’s outrageous. Most Americans would feel privileged to retire at 62.

President Sarkozy should never surrender. Never!

One only has to look at France to see what an entitlement society run by radical labor unions does to a country:

Striking French oil refinery workers shut down a fuel pipeline supplying Paris and its airports on Friday and airport workers grounded some flights as protests mounted to derail an unpopular pension reform.

France’s airport operator played down worries of fuel shortages, but strikes at all of France’s 12 refineries and fuel depot blockades have prompted motorists to stock up on petrol.

What draconian measures could prompt such a reaction? President Sarkozy is pushing through pension reforms that would raise the retirement from 60 to 62, and the age to retire with full pension from 65 to 67. Whoa! What a monster.

I really hope Sarkozy doesn’t cave. Moreover, he should not allow radical unions to bring France’s economy to its knees. President Reagan busted the air traffic controller’s union back in 1981 when they tried to pull a similar stunt. He told the workers they had 48 hours to return to work or they would be terminated — period.

President Sarkozy should stand firm on his extremely modest pension reforms no matter what. He must take France back from the lazy Socialists.
