Just what the world was waiting to hear from the President of The United States.

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says NFL owners’ treatment of players is like “modern day slavery.” Peterson is set to make $10.72 million base salary in 2011. Frankly, these arrogant athletes are a lot like liberal politicians. They live in a dream world. Peterson makes 10 million a year to throw a ball around a field. That to him is tantamount to slavery. He should get a pay cut for stupidity. Better yet, he should be forced to get a real job.

NFL football star and animal abuser Michael Vick says he would really like to get another dog. He says it will help with his “rehabilitation.”

I don’t know whether he should be allowed to own another dog or not. But when it comes to the kind of animal cruelty Vick went to prison for I don’t believe in rehab. Meaning I don’t believe empathy towards animals can be taught. You’re either born with it or you’re not.

No one had to teach me that raising dogs so I could watch them tear each other apart is wrong. My parents never told me that electrocuting a dog to death was wrong. My dad never sat me down and as a child and warned me never to hang dogs in the future.

I wasn’t taught those lessons because I already knew them. It’s obvious that treating dogs like that is repugnant and immoral. It goes without saying.

Michael Vick’s inability to feel empathy towards animals is an indicator of an antisocial or sociopathic personality. Think of it like a birth defect.

What’s the deal with this? The Eli Young Band was supposed to sing the National Anthem at the Chiefs-Broncos game in Kansas City. The failed. Twice.

This was a great moment. Former President George W. Bush accompanied by his father (and former president) George H.W. Bush threw out the first pitch at the World Series. The crowd went crazy. As usual, George W. Bush threw a perfect strike. The legendary Nolan Ryan was the catcher.

Both as a Texan and an American it doesn’t get much better than that.

Wow. This is really stunning. The race card can pretty much be played about anything now days it seems. LeBron James is now saying race was a definitely a factor in the fan backlash against him.

He wasn’t specific about how exactly race was a factor, but just that it was. I don’t even know what to say about that. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so idiotic.

Considering that about 99% of all NBA superstars are black makes his claim all the more bizarre. So Cleveland fans and the media have a secret resentment towards black athletes? Black athletes are synonymous with the NBA. Without black players there would be no NBA. All the best players are black. In fact, most of the best players in every sport with the exception of hockey are black. It would be pretty hard to be a sports fan in America if you hate black people.

America’s best poverty pimp and race hustler “Rev.” Jesse Jackson was the asshole who made this issue about race to begin with. It sounds like James is just piggybacking off his absurd claims.

Jackson said the Cleveland Cavaliers coach was acting like LeBron’s “slave master” for being mad at him for leaving Cleveland.

“His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality,” Jackson said in a statement released Sunday. “(Gilbert) sees LeBron as a runaway slave.”

That statement alone is so outrageous that only in America could anyone take a clown like Jackson serious. But the funniest part of this has to do with James’s Q Scores which measure popularity.

…his positive Q rating among African Americans dropped from 52 percent in January to 39 percent in September. His negative Q rating increased from 14 percent to 15 percent. Some believe race plays a role in these ratings.

So he’s less popular with black people now because due to his leaving Cleveland they discovered he too was black? It’s just too absurd for words.

I can tell you this much. I think LeBron James is a real scumbag now. I think he’s a disgrace both personally and professionally. He’s arrogant, cynical, and stupid.

This has to be one of the most manufactured controversies I’ve seen since global warming. Mexican TV sports reporter Ines Sainz known for her provocative dress and large breast implants is now whining about how he she was treated in an NFL locker room.

Is is really a surprise to anyone that an attractive, provocatively dressed woman might be on the receiving end of some locker room talk inside an actual locker room with dozens of sweaty NFL football players?

Maybe instead of crying about how she was treated we should examine the wisdom of letting attractive, provocatively dressed women into NFL locker rooms with dozens of sweaty football players.

In Ines’s defense, it sounds like the liberal media turned this into a bigger story than she did. According to her it wasn’t a big deal, but other reporters were offended on her behalf.

If guys can’t just be guys in a locker room we’re all doomed.

Dana Milbank’s latest WaPo column is pretty good. He takes aim at Obama’s almost non-stop sports related activities since becoming president. It’s actually pretty stunning. Democrats would have been outside The White House with pitch forks had Bush acted the same way. The double standard is really irritating.
