During the 2004 election the liberal media coined the term “Swiftboating” as a way to describe any attack on Democrats deemed to be false or untrue. To be fair Michelle Malkin says the correct definition for “Swiftboating” is “telling the truth about Democrats.”

In any case, the liberal media has gone and done it again! They have a brand new term meant to attack conservatives and give cover to democrats.

The new word is Breitbarting, or intentionally taking a statement out of context for political ends.

Wow, I’m pretty sure we’ve seen that tactic long before Breitbart came on the seen. How many times have we seen conservatives get Mediamattered or MoveOned?

The media only does this kind of thing when they’re losing and losing bad. They can’t afford to have any more Breitbarting, or exposing the democrat media complex as a cabal of partisan scumbags.

Newsweek has written another puff piece on Barack Obama. In it Obama says he won’t allow himself to be “Swiftboated” with questions about Rev. Wright, or terrorist Bill Ayers.

The Obama campaign is planning to expand its research and rapid-response team in order to repel attacks it anticipates over his ties to 1960s radical Bill Ayers, indicted developer Antoin Rezko and other figures from his past. David Axelrod, Obama’s chief strategist, tells NEWSWEEK that the Illinois senator won’t let himself be “Swift Boated” like John Kerry in 2004.

What this means is that Republicans are officially on notice:

ASKING QUESTIONS = “SWIFTBOATING”

The major flaw in that line of thinking is that Democrats still don’t realize what “Swiftboating” actually means. John Kerry didn’t get it, and it appears Democrats still don’t get it this time around.
