Donald Trump didn’t hold back this morning on “Today.” He ripped Obama and decried his “terrible presidency.” He also doubled or maybe tripled down on the Birther issue. The Donald claims he has investigators in Hawaii looking into the Obama birth certificate issue. Says Obama may have been born in Kenya.

I agree with everything Trump says here except the Birther stuff. I still can’t get on board with it. I think it’s silly. I could be wrong. I’m keeping an open mind.

Glenn Beck appeared on “Today” this morning with Dr. Keith Ablow to discuss their new book, The 7: Wonders That Will Change Your Life. Not surprisingly, Glenn was forced to defend his so-called “angry rhetoric.” No one has yet explained to me why we’re continuing to talk about “angry rhetoric” when Arizona had nothing to do with it. She should have asked him about his book cover instead.

Former vice president Dick Cheney looked about 20 pounds lighter than usual, but was as scrappy as always. He spoke about his upcoming memoirs, the Tucson tragedy, Sarah Palin, his relationship with George W. Bush, and his feelings about Barack Obama.

An Interesting nugget: Cheney likes to watch Palin’s reality show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.”
