FYI: Josh Brolin Is A Wife Beater
You know that guy who plays President Bush in the new movie “W?” Well, it turns out he’s not a very nice guy. Did you know that Josh Brolin was arrested in 2004 at 3 a.m. after his wife, actress Diane Lane, called the cops and told them he hit her?
Brolin eventually came away from the incident unscathed after his wife decided not to press charges. This is very common in domestic violence cases. It’s possible that Lane chose not to press charges out of fear. It could be that Josh Brolin threatened to kill her if she went ahead with the charges.
Whatever the reason, domestic violence is a very serious matter. Ironically, Brolin’s mother-in-law is Barbra Streisand who is supposedly an advocate for women’s rights. Streisand should repudiate Brolin’s behavior and speak about violence against women.
Brolin’s violent tendencies were once again revealed immediately after the filming of “W.”:
Actor Josh Brolin, known for roles in movies such as “In the Valley of Elah,” has been arrested in Louisiana for an alleged bar fight, police say.
A Shreveport police report alleges Brolin, actor Jeffrey Wright and five other individuals attempted to interfere with police officers responding to a call about a fracas at a downtown bar, Gannett Newspapers reported Sunday.
Ten officers eventually restored order at the bar, and charged Brolin and Wright with interfering with police. The actors were in the city filming scenes for producer Oliver Stone’s film “W.”
Other media reports were not as kind, specifically fingering Brolin as directly involved in the fight. Whatever happend, it looks like Josh Brolin is a rather unstable individual.
There’s also a rumor going around the net that Brolin might actually be gay, but no hard evidence of that yet.
