Here’s President Obama’s State Of The Union speech in full:

Basically, it was an hour of lies, distortions, and phony rhetoric — as usual.

Indonesia Considers Tearing Down Obama Statue

Barack Obama Statue Indonesia

It was only one month ago that a fabulous bronze statue was unveiled in Jakarta, Indonesia of President Obama. The statue of “Little Barry” depicts Obama as a young boy when he lived in Indonesia for four years.

Now, there is growing discontent with the statue and some are calling for its removal or relocation.

More than 55,000 people have joined a Facebook page demanding the government take down the statue.

Members of the "Take Down the Barack Obama Statue in Menteng Park" group on Facebook say Obama has done nothing for Indonesia.

"Barack Obama has yet to make a significant contribution to the Indonesian nation. We could say Obama only ate and s (expletive) in Menteng. He spent his subsequent days living as an American," the web page says.

"For the dignity of a sovereign nation, Barack Obama’s monument in Menteng Park must be removed immediately."

The childhood connection and his knowledge of a few words of Indonesian made Obama popular in the mainly Muslim country of 234 million people.

I’m just wondering what exactly they thought Barry was going to do for them. It really is amazing how much phony hype there was surrounding Barack Obama when he became president.

Obama To Senate: Wait For Brown To Be Seated

President Obama said in an interview with George Stephanopoulos that will air tonight that the Senate should not try and move on health care until Scott Brown is seated. He said the people of Massachusetts have spoken and that must be respected.

Video: Obama Enjoys Bush Bashing Sermon At New Church

January 18, 2010 · Filed Under Barack Obama, Video · 1 Comment

Barack Obama and his family attended church Sunday in Washington. After listening to 20 years of racism and hate from Jeremiah Wright, it must have been nice for them to hear some Bush-bashing from the pulpit. The pastor at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church just couldn’t resist throwing some barbs at the former president.

Whatever happened to talking about Jesus at church? Why is the pulpit now the preferred place to hear partisan political ranting?

I can’t think of a single time I’ve ever heard my pastor attack a current or former president (or any other politician) from the pulpit.

He didn’t just promise it once, but eight different times. Instead, he chose to go with the smoke filled room approach.

Weekly Standard: Damage Control In 5 Easy Steps!

December 29, 2009 · Filed Under Barack Obama, Politics · 1 Comment

The Weekly Standard has The White House playbook on handling a crisis and it’s funny — because it rings so true.

Step 1: Deny seriousness of issue.
Step 2: Deny any admin responibility/failure.
Step 3: Have spokespeople convey O’s feelings to public.
Step 4: Blame Bush admin.
Step 5: Concede the issue days later.

Another thing that chaps my ass is all of Obama’s golf playing. Obama has already played more golf in 11 months than Bush did in 8 years.

I don’t generally take issue with a president having some down time, but the left made an issue out of it anytime Bush came within visual range of a golf cart. Obama is constantly teeing off and the left is dead silent.

Here is President Obama’s complete Nobel Peace Prize speech. It’s actually not a bad speech. Given the setting and circumstance he used some surprisingly tough language in the first part. I’m not sure how much of what he said he really believes, but I never do.

Ironically, his Peace Prize speech is the least apologetic of any overseas speech he’s given thus far.

Why Does Obama Keep Snubbing Our Greatest Ally?

December 9, 2009 · Filed Under Barack Obama, Politics · 2 Comments

Obama-Gordon-Brown

Barack Obama’s foreign policy choices (and his domestic ones) have been deeply disturbing to many. His decision to increase troop levels in Afghanistan is probably the first good thing he’s done since taking office.

Most disturbing is his treatment of our allies. The president campaigned on “restoring America’s image in the world” and “repairing” relationships with our allies, etc. I knew at the time all that was BS, but I never imagined he would do the exact opposite.

Nile Gardiner writes in the Daily Mail about the abhorrent treatment of Britain by President Obama from the moment he took office. It seems as though he’s gone out of his way to insult or snub Britain at every opportunity.

The latest snub came in President Obama’s speech on Afghanistan at West Point. Gardiner points out that Obama never once mentioned Britain or her 10,000 troops once in his 40-minute speech.

Last week, when President Obama got to his feet at the U.S. West Point military academy to outline his administration’s plans for America’s future in Afghanistan, one subject was conspicuous by its total absence from his 40-minute speech.

For while he made much of the surge in troop numbers and the controversial phased withdrawal planned for 18 months’ time, there wasn’t a single mention of America’s main ally in the region, Britain.

Never mind that we have 10,000 troops on active service there – far more than any other of America’s so-called allies – and never mind that 237 of our brave soldiers have already lost their lives there, Great Britain wasn’t even a footnote.

Given the level of sacrifice by British troops, it was the most extraordinary and insulting oversight.

Gardiner is absolutely right. The U.K. is truly America’s greatest ally. No other country on earth has shed more blood alongside America than Britain. When America goes to war so does Britain. British troops have been involved in fierce battles of late in Afghanistan and taken heavy casualties. The least our president can do is acknowledge their presence.

Nile goes on to point out that this is not a singular incident. One of Obama’s first acts as President was to order a bust of Winston Churchill removed from the Oval Office.

Not long after that, the British Prime Minister was treated like a third world nobody when he visited Washington. He was denied an official joint press conference in the Rose Garden and given a gift of 25 dvds that only play on American players.

Obama is also a big supporter of EU policies that treat Europe as a whole and threaten the sovereignty of Britain and other EU nations.

It’s no coincidence that some of Obama’s closest advisers on European affairs, both inside the Pentagon and the State Department, are fervent believers in the idea of a federal Europe and are certainly helping those leading the charge towards a European super-state.

As a result, the Obama administration has already given its enthusiastic support to the Lisbon Treaty, the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy, and the European Security and Defence Policy – all pan-EU initiatives.

…The threat to an independent, sovereign Britain is clear and yet, remarkably, the country leading that threat is our oldest ally.

It’s ironic that a man who campaigned on repairing alliances is doing so much to damage them. For some reason President Obama prefers talking to our enemies and giving the middle digit to our friends.

Video: Obama’s Afghanistan Speech

Here’s President Obama’s speech at West Point last night about Afghanistan. Unlike Bush, Obama just isn’t believable when he uses patriotic rhetoric. We all know he doesn’t believe most of what he said last night. I’m glad he’s sending more troops, but the speech was phony and the cadets knew it.

Obama To Skip 20 Year Anniversary Celebrations For Fall Of Communism

Marxist President Barack Obama is planning to skip the 20-year anniversary of the fall of Communism. He was personally invited by German Chancellor Merkel to attend the festivities in Berlin.

Such an occasion would provide the president with an opportunity to bask in the glory of America’s success in bringing an end to Communism, since he’s done nothing but apologize for his country since taking office.

Of course, when you have as many Reds in your administration as Obama does it’s kind of difficult to celebrate.
